Practical Insight Skills 1 Day Course - 24th February 2012

Audience
This is a one day course for Insight team members, to get them up to speed on the latest best practice vision, with practical tools to help them implement it.
Designed for new members joining Forum teams, but appropriate for anyone in an Insight role who wants to make a positive impact on their stakeholders and their organisation.
The course covers the following:
- Sharing a vision for insight and what it will look like in 10 years time
- An exercise to help get delegates on board with this vision
- How consulting skills and approaches can increase your effectiveness and impact
- The key communications tool used by all consultancies
- Identifying your own personal style preferences and how others may be different
- Tailoring your approach to influence key colleagues
- Engaging both sides of the brain to get your messages through
Learning outcomes:
Delegates will gain a good understanding of:
- The skills and behaviours required to be influential with insight
- How to approach project work like a consultant
- How to start a presentation with a top-down summary
- How to assess the communications preferences of key people you want to influence
- How to flex your style to increase your rapport with key individuals
